Just like everyone else, only different. Trying to enjoy life a bit more. Asking the big questions, like “What do I do with the second half of life?” Wondering if I'm really the person I think I am and am trying to become. Realizing I don't have all the answers. Trying to select the issues most important to me and directing my energies there. Discovering that I don't want to accumulate more stuff, I just want to have the things I use and enjoy.  (So please, lovely people, no birthday and Christmas presents, please!) Finding that a nice cup of coffee every now and again is really a treat. Grappling with the past, looking toward the future, and trying to fully experience the present. Making people laugh when I can. Bringing moments of unexpected surprise and delight in rare moments of silliness. (Maybe not so rare, actually.) Working conscientiously. Acccepting that I am as deserving of happiness as anyone else.
